Seattle Mariners pitcher Félix Hernandez has listed his home for sale, but fear not, Ms fans: He’s still got plenty of time before his contract is up with the team.
He also recently bought property and built a new home in the Clyde Hill area.
Hernandez, a five-time all-star who won the 2010 Cy Young Award as baseball’s best pitcher, signed a seven-year, $175 million contract with the Mariners in 2013.
Hernandez, known as King Félix, listed his home on Northeast First Street in West Bellevue for sale for $3.8 million on June 24, according to online real estate brokerage Redfin.com. The 10,400-square-foot home was built in 2009. It has five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a large theater, and overlooks Meydenbauer Bay on Lake Washington.
He bought the house for $3.2 million in 2010, according to Redfin.
